Leslie Leon West

West, Leslie Leon Bay City, Michigan Mr. West passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center. Age 88 years. The son of the late Jewel Gentry and Clearia (Wilson) West was born December 11, 1926 in Crosby County, Texas. Mr. West served in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII. He was the men's dorm director at U of M and various other jobs. He loved to read, travel, keep up with politics and watch football. Mr. West was a gentle giant who will be greatly missed by numerous relatives and dear friends. At the request of Mr. West cremation has taken place and there will be no services or viewing at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc.
