Lila Maxine Peters

Peters, Lila Maxine Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Peters passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at Brian's House. Age 75 years. She was born June 9, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan and has resided in Bay City all of her life. Lila was very strong in her faith, she enjoyed spending time up north, traveling and most of all spending time with her family Lila is survived by her husband of fifty four years John "Jack" J. Peters whom she married on June 2, 1956 in Visitation Catholic Church. She is also survived by one daughter and son-in-law; Julie and John Covieo of Bay City, three sons and one daughter-in-law; Gary Peters of Sault Ste Marie, MI, Dale and Cathy Peters of Bay City and Jim Peters of Bay City, nine grandchildren, two sisters-in-law; Dolores Boman and Idabelle Seyuin both of Bay City. She was preceded in death by her parents; Gordon and Irene (Turmell) Boman, one sister; Arlisle Losey and one brother; Kenneth Boman. Funeral Services will take place Saturday February 12 , 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Calvary Cemetery Chapel in Kawkawlin. Officiating will be Pastor Steve Roe with interment following. The family will be present at the Chapel to receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of service.
