Gaiser, Lloyd W. Bay City, Michigan Mr. Gaiser passed away early Thursday morning October 25, 2012 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 81 years. He was born May 19, 1931 in Monitor Township, Bay County, MI and has resided here all of his life. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Military Order of the Purple Heart, V.F.W. Kawkawlin/Linwood Post 6950, he retired from Gregory - Pumford Construction Company as a superintendent. He proudly served his Country in the United States Army 2nd Infantry Division during the Korean Conflict where he received two Purple Hearts, Korean Service Medal with two Bronze Campaign Stars, one US Service Bar Combat Infantry Badge. On December 1, 1951 he married his wife of sixty years the former Mildred "Millie" Kline and she survives his passing along with five children and their spouses Pam and Rodger Talaga, Pete and Terri Gaiser, Paula and Tom Maus, Penny Gaiser and Patti and Mike Sharp, sixteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, two sisters; Marian Gaiser and Wilma (Tudi) Wieck, sister-in-law; Norma Kline, brother-in-law; Robert Kline, special nephew; Ronald Kline and many other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; William and Clara (Beiser) Gaiser, two brothers ; Infant Herbert Gaiser and Harry Gaiser, five sisters; Infant Wilma Gaiser, Lorna Kipfmiller, Irene Gaiser, Harriet Feinauer and Louise Anderson and two nephews; John Kline and Corporal Robert Kline. Funeral Services will take place Monday, October 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. George Morris with Interment following under the auspices of the Bay County Veterans Council in Elm Lawn Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Sunday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Members of the V.F.W. Post 6950 will meet at the funeral home on Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. for a memorial service. Mr. Gaiser will be taken to the church on Monday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of service.
