Lois M. (Pfund) Mueller

Lois passed away early Wednesday morning, October 29, 2014 at McLaren Bay Region with her family by her side. Age 83 years. The daughter of the late Oscar and Amanda Pfund was born July 8, 1931 in Bay City. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. In her earlier years Lois worked as a Registered Nurse at General Hospital. She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter which has been the light of her life, she also enjoyed walking and reading books. Left to cherish her memory is one son and daughter-in-law; Daniel and Mae Mueller, her granddaughter; Angelee Mueller, one brother and sister-in-law; Roy and Nancy Pfund, one sister-in-law; Arlene Ponitz, her special nieces; Nancy (James) Coppler and Janet (Dr. Albert) Creal, many other nieces and nephews her childhood friend; Betty Skibin and her other dear friends; Shirley Clemens and Mary Garcia. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Richard H. Mueller, her special sister-in-law; Ruth Meyer, and a special friend; John Rich. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Monday, November 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Willim H. Allwardt with interment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday to receive family and friends from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Lois will be taken to the church on Monday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
