Loretta A. Adams

Our loving mother, grandmother, daughter and sister passed away Monday evening, June 27, 2016 at her residence. Age 71 years. She was born September 5, 1944 in Bay City MI. Loretta was a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church. She retired from the Meijer Store on Wilder Rd. where she worked for many years. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandson, Travis; she also enjoyed her Monday night shuffle board league that she played in for many years. Left behind to cherish her memory are one daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Eric Faustin; one grandson, Travis Faustin; her mother, Gloria Marquardt; one brother and sister-in-law, Alvin and Kathy Marquardt Jr.; one sister, Norma Kimbrue; six nieces; her aunts, uncles and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Alvin Marquardt Sr.; one baby sister, Delphine Marquardt. The Funeral and Committal Service will take place Friday, July 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church 1010 33rd St. Bay City, MI 48708. Officiating will be Rev. Richard D. Starr with private interment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday to receive family and friends from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Loretta will be taken to the church on Friday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
