Loretta M. Reiss

Reiss, Loretta M. Bay City, Michigan Our loving mother and grandmother passed away peacefully in the late hours of the night at the Bay City Comfort Care on Wednesday, June 7, 2017. Age 92 years. The daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine (Muir) Pauley was born on December 1, 1925 in West Branch, Michigan. In the year 1948 she married the love of her life, Frank Reiss, and spent over six decades by his side. She was a longtime member of Holy Trinity Church - Corpus Christi Parish. Loretta enjoyed reading, traveling, and watching Red Wing's Hockey, but most of all she loved gardening vegetables with Frank. Her and Frank also spent much of their time working fish fry's at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Left to cherish her memories are her two children, Terry (Lisa) Reiss of Bay City, MI and Randy (Gloria) Reiss of Pontiac, MI; nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and a few great-great-grandchildren. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, in 2004; one daughter, Tammy in 2005; and many brothers and sisters. At the request of Loretta cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Saturday, June, 10, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Robert Kelm.
