Lorna J. Thrush

Lorna Jeanette Thrush, aged 86, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2024, in Bay City, Michigan, surrounded by her loving family. Lorna was predeceased by her beloved children, Robert and Patricia. She is survived by her devoted son, Rod Hildebrant, and his husband, Matthew Meehan; her loving daughter, Judith Hildebrant, and her husband, Mike Morgan. Lorna's legacy lives on through her 9 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and pride.

Lorna’s life was one filled with love, laughter, travels, and a deep commitment to her family.

To her children, she was a pillar of love and guidance. To her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she was a source of endless warmth, stories, and affection. Lorna's legacy is one of compassion, resilience, and a heart open to those around her, including her "adopted" family from her time living in Mexico.

Though she has left this world, the impact of her kindness and the memories she created will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved her. May her spirit rest in peace, knowing she will never be forgotten.

A private memorial service will be held to honor Lorna's life, allowing her family and closest friends to gather in remembrance of her remarkable journey. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name to McLaren Hospice reflecting her lifelong dedication to kindness and generosity.
