Louis M. Kolb

Louis passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 92. He was born on February 28, 1928 to the late Adam and Mary (Lutz) Kolb. He married his wife, Margaret L. (Wolf) Kolb, on October 12, 1949. He was a postal clerk for the United States Postal Service for many years. He was a member of St. Johns Ev. Lutheran Church and enjoyed camping with his wife.

Louis is survived by his wife of 71 years, Margaret L. (Wolf) Kolb; daughter in law, Adrienne Kolb; three grandchildren, Joel (Nati) Kolb, Jennifer (Jeremy) Sexton and Jeremy (Kristen) Kolb; six great grandchildren, Kyla, Xavier, Kendall, Jordan, Xander and Zane; step great grandchildren, Stephanie, Jake and Lindsey; brother, Harold (Joyce) Kolb; sister, Loretta Kohn; sisters in law, Luella and Carol; dear friends, Norm and Judy Rowell and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Louis is preceded in death by his son, Ronald Kolb; two brothers, Adam and William Kolb; sister, Caroline Nichols; brother in law, Les Kohn and sister in law, Evelyn.

Private Funeral and Committal service will take place on January 20, 2021 at St. Johns Ev. Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Paul E. Schaewe. For those who are not able to attend, the service will be live streamed through St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church on their website at 12:45 p.m. https://www.stjohnsbc.org/online-messages Private burial will take place in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Memorial Contribution may be made to St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church.
