Louise B. Jacobs

Louise B. Jacobs Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Jacobs passed away peacefully Monday morning June 1, 2015 at Bay Medical Care Facility. Age 83 years. The daughter of the late Herman L. and Hannah E. (Alexander) Wolkens was born February 6, 1932 in Jackson, Michigan and has resided in Bay City for many years. Louise retired from Prestolite Co, enjoyed crocheting, reading spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of fifty four years Robert "Bob" W. Jacobs whom she married on August 20, 1960. Also left behind to cherish her memories are her children and their spouses; Robert Brown, Theodore Brown, Roberta Wallace, Howard and Crystal Jacobs and Connie and LeRoy Bennett, fifteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren, very special family friends; Becky and Rick Stark, three sisters and two brother-in-law; Norma and Earl Loselle, Caroline Weaver, Esther and Hayes Mack and Martin Chinn, one brother and three sisters-in-law; Royal and Judy Wolkens, Barb Wolkens and Pat Wolkens and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Jacobs was preceded in death by one daughter; Bernice Jacobs, infant son; Ricky Brown, three brothers; Albert, David and Paul Wolkens and one sister; Kate Chinn. The Jacobs family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Bay Medical Care Facility, especially Darlene, Stormi and Jordan for their kindness and support they provided for Mrs. Jacobs during the time they cared for her. At the request of Mrs. Jacobs cremation will take place and there will be no services at the Gephart Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Private interment will take place at Floral Gardens Cemetery at a later time. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a memorial to the Alzheimer's Foundation
