Lucas John Caspers

Lucas passed away on Friday, September 11, 2020 at Covenant Hospital at the age of 10 years. Lucas was born July 4, 2010 in Saginaw, Michigan. He enjoyed playing outside, swinging on swings, swimming, playing basketball, listening to music and spending time with his family.

Lucas is survived by his parents, Marty and Alisa (Silvernale) Caspers; brother, Nikolas Caspers; grandparents, Paul Sr. and Mary Caspers and Kathleen Silvernale; aunts and uncles, Paul (Beverley) Caspers, Beverlie (Thomas) Hitsman and Angela Pischel; cousins, Anthony (Casie), Kalub, Jessica (Keegan), Matthew (Marissa), Daniel, Gabriel, Peyton, Kane and many other family and friends. Lucas is preceded in death by his grandfather, John Silvernale and an aunt, Victoria Caspers.

A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Faith Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Matt Hall. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 as an outside gathering at the Gephart Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. We are currently still under the governor's executive order of social distancing and limited to 100 visitors in the church at the time of the service. Face coverings must be worn in the funeral home and church. In Lieu of flowers the family would like to ask you to consider a donation to the Special Education Teachers at Bay Arenac ISD. Memorial cards will be available at the funeral home and church.
