Schumacher, Lucille, age 93, Kawkawlin, passed away peacefully in her sleep, Friday, March 18, 2011 at Brian's House. The daughter of the late Omer and Louise (Leppeck) McCure was born September 14, 1917 in Bay City, Michigan. Lucille is survived by one daughter, Barbara (Gale) Hanover; seven grandchildren, Terri (Russell) Vittitow, Caren (Richard) Kolb, Lori Hanover, Jill (Tony Goodrich) Baird, Jeffrey Baird, Chad Baird and Bret (Amy) Baird; eleven great grandchildren, Sara, Brandon, Kelsey, KC, Coby, Kaleb, Garrett, Ryan, Alex, Justin and Emmeline Lucille and many nieces and nephews; two sisters, Jane (Ben) Kozak and Irene Gay; one brother, Jim (Mary) McCure and one daughter-in-law, Shirley Baird. In addition to her parents Lucille was also preceded in death by her husband, William Schumacher; two sons, Roger and Peter; one sister, Dorothy Magryta; two brothers, Jack and Art McCure and one daughter-in-law, Lucinda Baird. Funeral and Committal services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor Steve Roe with cremation following. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of services. Memorial cards for Riverwalk Baptist Church will be available at the funeral home.
