Lynda Lee Pfund

Lynda passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Toni and Trish House at the age of 77. She was born to the late Edward and Victoria (Manzewski) Rotarius on March 21, 1946 in Bay City, Michigan. She was a member of the Lord of New Life Lutheran Church. She enjoyed taking trips up north to the U.P. Lynda was full of life and was very strong and independent. She enjoyed gardening, taking care of her flowers and cooking. She loved her family and she was most definitely loved by all. Lynda married Bill Pfund on April 8, 1978 and they spent over 45 years together creating so many memories to last a lifetime. She and Bill were founders of Village Towing in Kawkawlin and Action Towing in Bay City and owned both for 30 years. Bill and Lynda were proud team drivers for Hagen Ford.

Lynda is survived by her husband, Bill Pfund; children, Pam (Carl) Pfundt, Brenda Wood, Sandy (Mark) Gallaher, Jamie (Ryan) Christensen and Robert (Lynn) Pfund; grandchildren, Nicole (Zach), Andrew, Terri (Ryan), Traci (James), Zane, Morgan, Noah, Ryder, Olivia, Nathan, Ben, Clare, Nadia, William and Gabe; great grandchildren, Bryce, Lydia, Ellyanah, Grayson and Makenna; sisters, Shirley Meyers and Carol Ayres; special niece, Ann (Lynn) Buckstein and several other nieces and nephews and special cousin, Cheryl Burke. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Victoria; 2 brothers and 8 sisters.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff at Carriage House, MyMichigan Medical Center in Midland and Toni and Trish House for all their support throughout this difficult time.

Funeral service for Lynda will take place on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor Carl Trosien and Pastor Kurt Eichinger. The family will be present to receive visitors on Sunday at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Toni and Trish House or Lord of New Life Lutheran Church.
