Madeline M. Valliere

Madeline Marie Valliere, of Bay City, passed away Friday evening December 2, 2011 at Toni & Trish House in Auburn, age 79. The daughter of the late Martin & Alma (Pfundt) Kuch, she was born March 24, 1932 in Auburn. On May 12, 1951 Madeline married Donald Valliere and he preceded her in death on December 2, 1986. She was employed at Prestolite Corp. for over 19 years and then also at the V.A. Medical Center in Saginaw for two years. Madeline was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Mrs. Valliere is survived by her three children, Lane (Linda) Valliere, Jan Marie Heil and Alan Valliere all of Bay City; five grandchildren, Chad Valliere, Ashley MacDonald, Jodi Heil, Jason Heil and Alilyn Valliere; three step-grandchildren, Ryan, Jeff and Chad Lang; four great-grandchildren; her sister, Elaine Myers; her brother and sister-in-law, Ervin (Judy) Kuch; and many nieces & nephews. The family would like to express their thanks to Heartland Hospice and the staff of Toni & Trish House for the wonderful care Madeline received. The funeral service will take place at 1:30pm on Monday December 5, 2011 at Zion Lutheran Church, 510 W. Ivy St. Officiating will be Rev. John W. Wernecke. Private interment will be in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Valliere will lie instate at the church on Monday from 12:30pm until time of service. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, the Toni & Trish House or Zion Lutheran Church.
