Margaret Burns

Margaret Burns of Bay City, Michigan passed away early Saturday morning, September 6, 2014 at Bay Shores Nursing Care Center. Age 68 years. She was born September 28, 1945 in Midland, Michigan. She was a member of F.O.E. Aries 4463 in Mt. Pleasant, MI, the TOPS Club for twenty years and was honored to serve as the president of the club. She retired from Dependable Sewer after fourteen years of service as a dispatcher, enjoyed playing bingo and a trip to the casino. She is survived by two brothers and one sister-in-law; Robert and Judy Payne Jr. of Bay City and Von Hoffman, two nephews and their spouses; Scott and Christine Payne of Bay City, Patrick and Amy Payne of Linwood, many great nieces, nephews and friends. Margaret was preceded in death by her special friend; Gordon Cornelius. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Monday evening, September 8, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Keith Nelson. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorial cards for the wishes of the family will be available at the funeral home.
