Margaret J. Dziurka

Dziurka, Margaret J. Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Dziurka passed away Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Auburn Care Center. Age 90 years. The daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Cervienka) Sipka was born September 27, 1920 in Gratiot County, Michigan. Margaret was a devoted member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, member of the Alter Society and a church volunteer. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, traveling to Czechoslovakia, being a nanny, gardening and canning. Mrs. Dziurka is survived by her son, Mark (Margaret) Dziurka; two grandchildren, Whitney and Tyler Dziurka; two sisters, Katie Zemla and Agnes Orlowski and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Margaret was also preceded in death by her husband Raymond Dziurka whom she married on May 6, 1961. He passed away on January 23, 2007; six brothers and sisters, Paul, John, Joe and Louis Sipka, Pauline Batora and Ann Onstout. The Funeral Liturgy and Rite of Committal will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Robert J. Meissner with private interment in St. Anthony Cemetery. Friends may call at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. and until the time of services. Memorial cards for the Alzheimer's Foundation will be available at the church.
