Margaret A. Hanczewski

God took our angel home on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 93 years. The daughter of the late Adam and Anna (Skaginiek) Chapels was born December 17, 1918 in Detroit, Michigan. She was a member of St. Hyacinth Catholic Church. She enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers, playing cards with her special friend Rick Troxell, making rugs with a loom and attending flea markets with her husband. She is survived by her children and their spouses; Conrad and Deborah Hanczewski of Houghton Lake, Daniel Hanczewski and Heidi Wagar and Roseanne Hanczewski all of Bay City, her grandchildren; Brandi Burch, Katy Hanczewski, Wayne and Evan Sutton, Ashley McDonald, Amy, Marc and Matthew Hanczewski, Crystal, Holli and Britteny Yax, her great grandchildren; Carter and Blake Sutton and Savannah McDonald. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband; Conrad Hanczewski and her daughter; Diane Sutton. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of I.C.U. at McLaren Bay Region for the kind and compassionate care our loved one received during her time of need. Also her devoted caregivers that took care of her for many years; her daughter; Roseanne, her special friend; Rick, her granddaughters; Crystal, Holli and Britteny. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Monday, April 16, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church. The celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Edward Konieczka with the Rite of Committal following in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services.
