Margaret M. Hayward

Mrs. Hayward passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at the Bay County Medical Care Facility with her family by her side. Age 82 years. The daughter to the late Edmund and Anna (Pakosz) Surmann was born May 17, 1936 in Alger, Michigan. She enjoyed cooking, holiday decorating, and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Hayward is survived by two daughters, Constance Rupp and Susan (Ron) Strachan; five grandchildren, Steven, Jason, Kaylee Rupp, Samantha and Kristina Strachan; two great grandsons, Dominic and Ace Rupp; sister, Patricia Bromberg; sister-in-law, Barb (Robert) Stender. In addition to her parents Margaret is predeceased by her husband, Raymond J. Hayward; sister, Dolores Surmann; brother, Edmund Surmann Jr. and son-in-law Steven Rupp. The family would also like to extend a special thanks to the Bay County Medical Care Facility staff.

Funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Mary Ann Helie with burial and committal following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The family will be present Thursday to receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services.
