Margaret A. "Marney" Jones

Margaret A. "Marney" Jones, of Bay City, passed away Tuesday evening March 28, 2017 at The Carriage House of Bay City, age 100. The daughter of the late William and Alma (Dickson) Watson, she was born on January 15, 1917 in Bay City. Marney graduated from Bay City Central High School and then worked at Consumer's Energy for many years. She was a very active, longtime member of the Evangelical Free Church.
Marney was preceded in death by her husband, Paul C. Jones. She is survived by her brother, Stuart Watson of Indiana; and several loving nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Marney was also preceded in death by her daughter, Marilyn Jones; and her sister, Eleanor (Ernest) Cederberg.
The Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the Evangelical Free Church, 604 S. Woodbridge St. Officiating will be Pastor Greg J. Langley. Private interment will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the church on Saturday, April 22nd from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
