Margaret Marie Kerr

Margaret Marie Kerr of Bay City, Michigan our beloved wife and mother and grandmother passed away Friday, October 7, 2011, at Bay Medical Care Facility with her family at her side. Age 81 years. She was born July 5, 1930, in Bay City and has resided in this area all of her life. She was a member of Visitation Catholic Church, a long time member of Mothers of Twins Club and a founding member of F.N.I.C. On June 21, 1952, she married Matthew Kerr in Visitation Catholic Church and he survives her passing along with six children and their spouses: Mary Kerr Laskey of Great Falls, Montana, Shari (Randy) Wegener of Fruitport, MI, Mark (Terri) Kerr of Cary, NC, Amy (Harrison) Curtis of Kawkawlin, Jean (Jay) Weaver of Kawkawlin and Ellen (Randy) Birdsell of Bay City; 15 grandchildren: 9 great grandchildren: one sister: Mary Ida Doan, two brothers: Tom (Katie) Trelewski and Jim (Diane) Trelewski all of Bay City and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents:Ted and Mable (Dishaw) Trelewski, one brother: Don Trelewski and one brother-in-law: Nate Doan. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Visitation Catholic Church. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. George Serour with the Rite of Committal following in Elm Lawn Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Sunday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Monday from 1:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Mrs. Kerr will be taken to the church on Tuesday to lie in state from 9:00 a.m. and until the time of services. The Vigil for the deceased will take place Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial cards for the Seton Cancer Institute will be available at the funeral home.
