Margaret M. Turbin

TURBIN, Margaret M. Bay City, Michigan. Mrs. Turbin passed away Tuesday night January 5, 2010 at Bay Regional Medical Center, age 79. The daughter of the late Ralph and Tena (Severson) Simcox, she was born April 8, 1930 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Margaret was a member of Harvest Baptist Church and was a lifetime member of the D.A.V. Chapter #9 Auxiliary. She was known for her wonderful smile and her will to shop. Margaret is survived by her five children, Margaret (Frank) Mayes, Richard (Nancy) Turbin, James (Flora) Turbin, Elizabeth Anderson and Nancy Turbin & her special friend, Vicki Ervin; many loving grandchildren & great-grandchildren; a brother, James Simcox; and three sisters-in-law, Ardeth Lybby, Edna Howard and Virginia Dilloway. Besides her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her loving husband, Burton A. Turbin in 1995; a brother, Donald Simcox; granddaughter, Vicki Sue Turbin; son-in-law, Robert Anderson; and her special friend, Lucille Cauchy. The funeral service will take place at 11:00am on Saturday January 9, 2010 at Harvest Baptist Church, 710 Salzburg Ave. Officiating will be Pastor Joseph Atchinson with interment following at Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home on Thursday from 6:00 to 9:00pm and on Friday from 2:00 to 5:00 & 7:00 to 9:00pm.
