Marguerite "Peggy" M. Joiner

Marguerite M. "Peggy" Joiner passed away early Monday, morning September 29, 2014 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 85 years. The daughter of the late Charles and Eva (Sherwood) Bartel was born July 31, 1929 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Joiner was a former member of the Bay City Yacht Club. She is survived by two daughters and two sons-in-law; Patricia and Rev. Stephen Starke, Pamela and Rev. Larry Wright, seven grandchildren; Paul and Paulette Starke, Sarah and Justin Bobick, Stephanie Starke, Peter Starke, Elizabeth Wright, Alicia Wright, Alex Wright, one great granddaughter; Alina Starke. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Paul E. Joiner whom she married June 20, 1953 in Westminster Presbyterian Church, one brother and sister-in-law; Chuck and Sally Bartel, one sister and brother-in-law; and Marilyn and Don Deuscher Private Funeral Services have taken place at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. with private burial in Floral Gardens Cemetery.
