Marian L. Layman

Layman, Marian L. Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Layman passed away suddenly Monday, October 1, 2012 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 93 years. She was born April 15, 1919 in Bay City and has resided here all of her life. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and it's Ladies Guild. She was an avid bingo player, she enjoyed needle point, crossword puzzles and traveling. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law; Sandra and Fred Alexander of Pinconning, two granddaughters; Robin and Dan Schafer of St. Johns, MI and Tracey Bauer of Grand Blanc, four great grandchildren; Kiefer Bauer and his special friend Katie, Kyle Bauer, Kalub Bauer and Christopher Schafer. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Clayton Layman, one daughter; Eileen Layman, two sisters and two brothers. A Private Funeral Service took place Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc.. Officiating was Rev. William H. Allwardt with interment in Floral Gardens.
