Marian M. Wuepper

Marian passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at the Colonnades Assisted Living at the age of 96 years. Marian was born in Bay City on April 16, 1921 to the late Adolph and Nora (Mueller) Bickel. In May of 1946 she married Claude Wuepper in Bay City and after many years together he passed away in 2001. Marian was a charter member of Faith Lutheran Church where she was part of the LWML and the parish service guild. She spent time volunteering around the community in local charity organizations including the American Heart Association, Economy Center, Meals on Wheels and the Frankenmuth Lutheran Home Auxiliary.
She is survived by her children, Barbara (Donald) Meinecke, Kathleen (Steve) Young and Jeffrey (Shirlene) Wuepper; grandchildren, Julie, Brian (Amy), Carolyn (James), Matthew (Hope), Timothy (Patricia), Linsey (Stephen) and Shelby (Caleb); and twelve great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents she was also preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Bickel.
Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Matthew Hall officiating. Private Entombment will take place in Oakwood Mausoleum, Saginaw. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Monday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
