Mrs. Marilyn L. Wilczynski, of Bay City, our loving daughter, wife and mother, passed away early Monday morning, September 16, 2013 at her residence, following a courageous battle with cancer which she has fought since 2010, at the age of 58. She was born November 4, 1954 in Bay City. Marilyn was a graduate of T.L. Handy High School. She was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church and was a volunteer until her illness interfered. Also Marilyn and Paul are members of the Bay Valley Corvette Club. Marilyn loved her home and enjoyed spending time with her family. On May 27, 1978 Marilyn married Paul D. Wilczynski and he survives her passing along with their two sons, Andy Wilczynski of Auburn and Steve Wilczynski of Bay City; her father and mother, Francis and Eleanor (Wegener) Gray of Bay City; her three brothers, Mick (Mary) Gray of Beaverton, Tom Gray of Grand Rapids and Rich (Sherrie) Gray of Bay City; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Marilyn was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Dan and Lucille Wilczynski. The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Ernie Balcueva and staff and also to Covenant Hospice for their special care and concern given to Marilyn. The Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2013 at Zion Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. William H. Allwardt with a graveside committal service following at Lutheran Home Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home on Thursday from 2:00 to 5:00 & 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Wilczynski will lie instate at the church on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church.
