Marion passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016 at her residence with her family by her side. Age 87 years. The daughter of the late Gerhardt and Anita (Staudacher) Boehm was born May 16, 1929 in Greenville, MI. She was a member of St. Bartholomew Ev. Lutheran Church, sang in the choir and was a Sunday School Teacher. Marion worked for many years as a Registered Nurse. She enjoyed crocheting and traveling. Left behind to cherish her memories are her children, Al (Marie) Lisius; Gail Lisius; Tim Lisius and Jill (Al) Ferrio; her grandchildren, Chris (Jennifer) Gornto; Erin (Beau) Bergstrom; Brandon (Amy) Moquin; Seth Ferrio; Noah (Chantel) Ferrio; Amanda (Michael) Herrera; Ryan Lisius and Danielle Lisius; eighteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; one sister, Helen Almy; one brother, Robert Jorgesen; two sisters-in-law, Elsie Dietlein and Esther Hempel; her very special neighbors; Gina and Jenny. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Elmer William Lisius whom she married September 30, 1950; one daughter, Beth E. Lisius; her twin sister; her brother and sister-in-law, Warren and Ruby Klee; her sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Ray Cook; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Harold and Agnes Lisius; Elmer and Irma Gies; Herb Dietlein and Gordon Hempel. The family would like to extend a special Thank you to Tim, Marie, Amanda and Danielle for the care that allowed our Mom to remain at home. Also to Golden Horizons, Southern Care Hospice and Home Watch Caregivers for the kind and compassionate care you gave our loved one during her time of need. The Funeral and Committal Service will take place Friday, December 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bartholomew Ev. Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Larry Seafert. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday to receive family and friends from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Marion will be taken to the church on Friday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider donations to St. Bartholomew Ev. Lutheran Church or Golden Horizons.
