Marion M. Priem

Mrs. Priem passed away on Monday, July 30, 2018 at Bayfield Assisted Living. Age 91 years. The daughter of the late Severin and Pearl (Kleinert) Arnesen was born May 15, 1927 in Bay City, Michigan. Mrs. Priem was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the church choir. She enjoyed bowling, traveling, playing cards, video games and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Priem is survived by her five children, Lisbeth Mellor, Douglas (Cindy) Priem, Kim Priem, Paul (Maura) Priem and David Priem; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister, Jean Carrier; brother, Fred (Carol) Arnesen and her sister-in-law, Arlene Priem. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Priem whom she married on August 28, 1948 and two sisters, Pearl Drayer and Bethany Patterson.

Funeral and Committal services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Zion Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. William H. Allwardt with private interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Priem will be taken to the church to lie in state on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial cards for Zion Lutheran Church will be available at the funeral home.
