Treiber, Marion A. Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Treiber passed away Friday, March 25, 2011 at the Auburn Heights. Age 81 years. The daughter of the late Walter and Bertha (Janke) Neuman was born April 9, 1929 in Sebewaing, Michigan. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, a charter member of the Bay Concert Band and enjoyed music. Marion retired as a secretary from Aid Association for Lutherans. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law; Jill and Rick Hoppe of Bay City, three grandchildren; Amber and Bob Holdwick of Kalamazoo, Jayson Hoppe and Ashley Hoppe both of Bay City, one sister and brother-in-law; Jane and Mike Rynski of Elkhart, IN, one sister-in-law; Gertrude Matthews of Bay City and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Rudolph H. Treiber Jr., one son; James R. Treiber and one brother; Milton Neuman. The family of Mrs. Treiber would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Auburn Heights for the kind and compassionate care they provided for Mrs. Treiber during her stay with them. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Tuesday March 29, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. William H. Allwardt with private interment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Monday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Mrs. Treiber will be taken to the church on Tuesday to lie in state from 1:00 p.m. and until the time of services. Memorial cards for Zion Lutheran Church or Bay Concert Band will be available at the funeral home.
