Marjorie L. Davidson

Marjorie L. Davidson Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Davidson passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Bay Shores Senior Care and Rehabilitation in Bay City, Michigan. Age 88 years. She was born October 14, 1926 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late LeRoy and Marjorie L. (Bonsall) Schaffer. She was a member of St. Alban's Episcopal Church and was a partner in Bill Davidson and Sons Wholesale Foods. She is survived by two daughters; Carol Bermudez of Standish, Marcia Granger of Saginaw, two sons; William D, Davidson Jr. and Kenneth E. Davidson both of Kalamazoo, her adopted daughter; Marsha (Doug) Brinks, several grandchildren and great grandchildren and one brother; Michael L. (Mary) Schaffer of Melbourne, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband William D. Davidson on April 11, 1996 and one brother; LeRoy Schaffer. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Karin, Kisha, Mike, Lois, Joyce Christian and all of the staff at Bay Shores and Heartland for the kind and compassionate care they provided for Mrs. Davidson. Funeral Services will take place Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. St. Alban's Episcopal Church. Officiating will be The Rev. Sharon L. Voelker with interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Davidson will be taken to the church on Tuesday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of service. Memorial cards for St. Alban's Episcopal Church will be available.
