Lambert, Marjorie J. Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Lambert passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Sheffield Bay. Age 90 years. The daughter of the late Garold and Thelma (Boyce) Aurand was born September 23, 1925 in Bay City, Michigan. Mrs. Lambert was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Civitan Club and the Elks Club. She worked for Peoples National Bank and volunteered for the polling office for elections and delivered Meals on Wheels. Mrs. Lambert is survived by one daughter, Janet (Steve Moddemeyer) Lambert; one son, Gregg (Patti) Lambert; one granddaughter, Molly Lambert; two great grandchildren, Paige Knapp and Myron Brooks Jr.; one sister in law, Arlene Lambert; many nieces, nephews, cousins and her cherished friends from the "Friday Night Group". In addition to her parents Mrs. Lambert was also preceded in death by her husband, Virgil W. "Speed" Lambert and her step mother, Adeline Aurand. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Sheffield Bay for their compassion and care. Funeral and Committal services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 4, 2016 at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Officiating will be Rev. Linda K. Williams with private interment at Elm Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday, April 3, 2016 from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. Mrs. Lambert will be taken to the church to lie in state on Monday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of services. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to Westminster Presbyterian Church or the donor's favorite charity.
