Marjorie E. McLellan

Mrs. Marjorie E. McLellan, of Bay City, passed away suddenly at her residence on Saturday, December 29, 2012, at the age of 88. The daughter of the late Arthur & Grace (Smith) Nelson, she was born August 9, 1924 in Bay City. Marjorie was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. On April 29, 1950 Marjorie married Eugene "Gene" McLellan and he preceded her in death on July 29, 2009. She is survived by her six children, Debra McLellan of Plantation, FL, James (Jody) McLellan of Montrose, Richard McLellan of Bay City, Charles McLellan of Tulsa, OK, Janet (James) Bankey of Madison Heights, MI and Patricia (Bryn) Wall of Midland; three grandchildren, Eric Sheneman, Nikki Wall and Arika Wall; one great-grandson, Keaton Yoder; niece & nephew, Laurie (McLellan) & Dave Herbert along with many other nieces and nephews; and two special friends, Gert Christie and Liz Gallagher. Marjorie was also preceded in death by her sister, Betty Fogerty; and several brothers and sisters-in-law. It was Mrs. McLellan's desire that cremation take place. A Memorial Liturgy and the Rite of Committal will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. The Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Robert S. Gohm. Private inurnment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
