Marjorie Mae Zins

Marjorie Mae Zins (Schmidt), of Bay City, entered eternal life on February 13, 2014. She passed away at the Toni and Trish house in Auburn and was received into the waiting arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at the age of 92. Marjorie was born October 18, 1921 in Bay City to the late Robert and Flora Schmidt. She married Edward J Zins on June 12, 1945 in St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Bay City. She is survived by her Daughter Janice F. (Daryl) Sampier, Her Daughter-in-Law Betty Zins, 5 Grandchildren: Rachel A.(Kevin) Geer, Stacie M. (Mike) Wingeier, Michael E. Zins, Amy R. (Brian) Srebinski, Daniel L. (Vanessa) Sampier, and 15 Great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her husband Edward, her son Timothy, and her Granddaughter Francine (Zins) Wright. She would like to thank all of the teachers and ministers of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church and School who brought her up with training in the true word of God where she was a lifelong member. Her family would like to thank the great staff and volunteers of the Toni and Trish house including Heartland Hospice and Dr. James Campau for the great care she received and for helping us through this difficult time. A memorial service will be conducted at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, 706 W. Jane St., Bay City, Michigan on April 5th, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be Rev. Paul E. Schweppe & Rev. Paul E. Schaewe. Friends may call at 10:00 AM. Memorials should be made out to St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church. Arrangements are under the care of the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. www.gephartfuneralhome.com
