Mark passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 14, 2014 at his home in St. Louis MI at the age of 52. The son of the late George and Norma (Blashill) Davidson was born September 2, 1961 in Port Huron, MI. Mark graduated from the former T.L. Handy High School. He was a self-employed mechanic and enjoyed working on cars, motorcycles, snowmobiles, boats and lawnmowers. Mark also had a great love for nature and taking walks.Left behind to cherish Mark's memory are his mother; Jane Davidson, his life partner of twenty five years; Janet Eddy, one daughter; Kathryn (Derik Koss) Davidson , one son; Michael Davidson; two sisters; Mary Kay (Don) Darnell and Lorna (Ray) Miller, one brother; Jim (Cheryl) Davidson, his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; Judy (David) Myers, Joyce (Gordy) Gallandt, Stewart Eddy, Dave (Kelly) Eddy, many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by one son; William Eddy Davidson, one sister and brother-in-law; Susie and Jerry List. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. with cremation following. Officiating will be The Rev. Dr. Jeffrey D. Weenink. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. to receive family and friends on Wednesday from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy in Mark's memory may wish to consider donations to the family.
