Marlene passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 27 at MidMichigan Medical Center in Midland, Michigan at the age of 77. She was born on October 3, 1944 to the late Harold and Doris (Hollis) Knochel in Bay City, Michigan. Marlene was a cook for Division of Aging, also known as Meals on Wheels, for many years and was a runner for the Willew Lounge. She was a very avid donator to St. Jude's Children Hospital. She loved baking and making desserts for specials occasions. She also loved her Busch light, playing keno and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Marlene is survived by her children, Debbie (Dave) Julian, Jill (Tim) Born, Jody Royal and her special friend Scott MacKenzie and Lonnie (Kimberly) Foco; grandchildren, CJ (Becky) Conway, Desirae (Doug) Gordon, Kristi (Rob) Craver, Eric (Laura) Conway, David (Candice) Julian, Heather (Jamie) Foco, Jordan Conway, Jeffrey (Julie) Foco, Torri (Kyle) Weber, Brendan (Britney) Hollingsworth, Breanna Foco, Kyle Hollingsworth and Caitlin Foco; 18 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by the father of her children, Jr. Foco; husband, Wayne Roach and son-in-law, Mike Royal.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the nurses at MidMichigan Medical Center in Midland and the staff at Primrose Assisted Living.
Private interment will take place at Floral Gardens Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
