Marlene J. Fritz

Marlene passed away at McLaren Bay Region with her family by her side on Monday, October 28, 2024 at the age of 89. The daughter of the late Roy and Bernice (Setlak) Raymond was born June 28, 1935 in Standish, Michigan. Marlene enjoyed walking her dog, shopping and spending time with her family.

Marlene is survived by her four children, Jeanne Russell, Sandy Carlson, Paul (Colleen) Fritz and Dennis (Bonnie) Fritz; seven grandchildren, Bryan (Beth), Dana (Matt), Eric (Stephanie), Brad (Vanessa), Chelsea (Ryan), Thomas (Dana) and Brett; 9 great grandchildren, Maleah, Maisie, Betsy, Linkin, Ethan, Lenley, Tatum, Fritz and Easton; one brother, Eugene “Buck” Raymond; one sister, Betty (Raymond) Bliss and her very special friend of the family, Lynann. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul R. Fritz; daughter, Renee Fritz; two sons-in-law, David Russell and Frank Carlson and several brothers and sisters. 

At the request of Marlene, cremation has taken place. A private inurnment will take pace at a later date at Floral Gardens Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the wishes of the family.
