Marvin W. "Bill" Stukel

Marvin passed away unexpectedly Monday February 10, 2014 at his residence at the age 75 years. The son of the late Marvin J. and Violet N. (Westenburg) Stukel was born June 2, 1938 in Holland, MI. He retired from G.M. Powertrain Bay City Plant after 33 years of service. Marvin enjoyed playing bingo and shopping. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Left behind to cherish his memory are one daughter and son-in-law; Mindy and Dennis Turmell, one son; Max Stukel, his grandchildren; Allison, Jessica and Tyler Spegel, Sarah Turmell, Matthew (Jessica) Turmell, his sisters and brother; Patricia Joyce, Robert J. Stukel and Bonnie and James Nagel, several nieces and nephews and many special friends. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his children; Marnie Jo, twins; Douglas Allen and Leslie Joy. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc., on Friday, February 14, 2014 to receive family and friends from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. followed by Military Honors conducted by the Bay County Veterans Council with cremation following.
