Mary Ann went home peacefully to be with her Lord on the morning of Thursday, August 31, 2017, at the Bay Medical Care Facility. Mary Ann was born on January 30, 1930, in Fisherville to the late Stephen and Helen (Rytlewski) Wejrowski. On June 17, 1950, she married her love Paul Vogtmann; he passed away on May 27, 2003. She was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust where she was very active in the Ladies' Aid and volunteered at the Economy Center. In her spare time she enjoyed doing Sudoku puzzles, cooking, baking, knitting and crocheting. Her greatest love was her family and spending time with her grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Cheryl (Charles) Appold, Paul (Yvonne) Vogtmann, Richard (Jenette) Vogtmann, Kathy Little, Lori (David) Westphal; grandchildren: Michelle (Chad) Bennett, Jeremy (Holly) Vogtmann, Erin (Joe) Rau, Kristin (Joe) Cronkright, Christopher (Mary), David, Ricky Vogtmann, Christopher Little and fiancé Ellie Wynn, Rachel and Megan Westphal; great grandchildren: Emily, Samantha, Willow, Isabel, Alexandra, Olivia, Camden, Luca, Adalyn and Courtney; sister: Gertrude Kaczynski; sister-in-law: Eleanor Wejrowski, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Michael Little; stepfather, William Gerulski; and brothers, Theodore and Louis Wejrowski. Mary Ann's funeral service will take place on Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust with Pastor Dennis W. Matyas officiating. Interment will take place at Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mary Ann will lie in state at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
