Mary passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at her residence. Age 80 years. She was born January 27, 1931 in Flint, Michigan. Mary was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and attended New Hope Baptist Church. She enjoyed camping, painting and loved her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband: Lyle Neil Ball whom he married December 24, 1954. Also surviving are two daughters and one son-in-law: Sherry Proderut, Dawn and Kevin Mullins, her grandchildren: David, Cody, Kevin, Kaden, Christy, Kimberley and James, her great grandchildren: Claudia, Amelia, Lily, Leonard, Hudson and Bellah, one great great grandson: Brayden Michael, one sister: Wilma Green and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: Sherman E. and Martha Edna (Alexander) Inman, three sisters: Betty and Bernice, four brothers: Norman, Sherman, Bobby and Richard. The family would like to extend a special Thank you to Heartland Hospice for the kind and compassionate care our loved one received during her illness. Funeral Services will take place Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at New Hope Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Lee Austin with interment following in Elm lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mary will be taken to the church on Saturday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Memorial cards for wishes of the family will be available at the funeral home.
