Mary J. Bartoszek

Mary Bartoszek passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 7th in her home with her husband Ed at her side. She was born in Bay City, Mi on December 2,1949 to Mary (Rich) and Rene Beauvais and lived there most of her life.
While earning a degree in mathematics at the University of Detroit, she met Ed.  The couple was married on 1974 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bay City. They recently celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary together.
More than anything, Mary enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren, traveling and playing golf. One of Mary's favorite places to travel was Hawaii where she and Ed traveled several times throughout their years together. Mary was immensely creative, enjoyed drawing, pottery, puzzles and reading.
Her golf career started while her children were young and continued until a few years ago. She was a member of several golf leagues throughout the Tri-city area where she gained a group of lifelong friends. She was also able to fulfil her all-time goal of achieving a hole-in-one. In fact, she even saved the ball which is proudly on display for all to see.
She was an active parishioner of Holy Trinity Catholic church from the time the children were young. She was a very giving person embracing her faith in all she accomplished.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents, her brother David and several aunts and uncles. Mary is survived by her husband Ed, their three children, Jennifer (Jason), Jill and Jeff, their four Grandchildren, Braeden, Samantha, Michael and Christian well as Brothers Bill, Bob (Joan), Paul (Kathy), Patti, Duane and several nieces and nephews.
