Mary Beth Brown, of Marco Island, FL, formerly of Auburn, MI, age 64, died October 8, 2014 in Naples, Florida. She was born on June 16, 1950 to Alexander and Leona (Michalak) Dasky. Growing up, Mary Beth lived in Auburn (Fisherville), Michigan where she graduated from St. Joseph High School, Bay City in 1968. Her and Bob continue to be members of St. Gabriel Parish (St. Anthony's in Fisherville). Mary Beth is the beloved wife of Bob Brown, whom she married 40 years ago on April 20, 1974. Dear sister of Monica (Terry) Hus of Auburn, MI, Patti (Russ) Friebe of Nashport, OH, Marcia (Bill) Reder of Auburn, MI, and Carol (The late Jerry) Vincent of Matthews, NC. Mary Beth is also survived by many nieces and nephews, Ric (Amanda) Hus, Nick Hus, David Hus, Brad (Abbi) Friebe, Steve (Sara) Friebe, Amy (Tonya) Reder, Lori (Gene) Talaga, Jeannine (Patrick) Whitman, Tony (Jessica) Reder, Paul (Sara) Reder, Matt Vincent, Chris (Jimmy) Vincent, Therese (Neil) Thurman, Alexandria (Bob) Bos, Dennis (Sandy) Vincent. Many Great Nieces and Nephews who she dearly loved and her closest friends, (Pam and Robert Vermette).In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her Mother-in-law and Father-in-law, Mildred and Kenneth Brown and sister-in-law, Gwen Karoly. Bob and Mary Beth moved to Marco Island, Florida in 2004. An active member of San Marco Catholic Church, she was also a member of the Collumbiettes and who practiced her faith with love and many prayers to the Blessed Mother and to Jesus. During her time on Marco Island, she has met a whole new family who will miss her and who she also loved very much. The Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 17, 2014 at St. Gabriel Parish - West Campus St. Anthony's, 1492 W. Midland Rd. in Auburn. The Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Thomas E. Sutton with the Rite of Committal following at St. Anthony Cemetery. Mrs. Brown will lie instate at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
