Mary Jo Burgett

Mary Jo passed away Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Bay City Comfort Care at the age of 72 years. Mary Jo was born on December 17, 1947 in Bay City to the late Lyman and Catherine (Murray) Oslund. She was member of St. Catherine of Siena Parish. On November 26, 1966 she married William Burgett in Shawneetown, IL and were married for 53 years. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, arts and crafts.
Mary Jo is survived by her husband, William; children, Stephen (Christina Lagalo), Christopher (Gail Bartlett) and Amanda (Seth) Webb; grandchildren, Michael (Katie), David (Taylor), Kyle, Elijah and Hunter; great grandchildren, Olivia and Dexter; brother, Thomas (Gloria) Oslund; brothers-in-law, Donald Burgett, Jim (Clara) Burgett and Jim Baldwin; sisters-in-law, Pat (Ron) Kuhl and Ruth Burgett and many nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Oslund and sister, Joan Baldwin.
Funeral Liturgy and Committal services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 23, 2019 at St. Catherine of Siena Parish. The Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. James Bessert with cremation to take place following the Mass. Friends may visit at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
