Mary, 94 years old, passed away peacefully at her Novi, MI home with her daughter Nina at her side. Her husband of 68 years, John passed away in 2015.
She is survived by her children, Paul Cambron (Debra Kennedy), Nina Cambron (Bill Brancheau), 4 grandchildren: Kara (Jason) Hart, Stacy Denham, Tia Fletcher, Max (Erin) Cambron & 5 great grandchildren: Taylor & Ava Hart, Madalyn & Samantha Denham & Kit Cambron.
Mary was a lifelong resident of Bay City and a fashion designer for the Normandy Dress Company, owned by her parents. She met her husband in 1944 while attending The Fashion Institute of Chicago. They married in 1947 and moved to Bay City where they raised their family and owned and operated several tool and die companies including Cambron Engineering which is still in existence today as an employee owned company.
Mary was a prominent artist in the Tri-City area. She was deeply involved in Studio 23 and committed to its success during the 60's and 70's. She taught painting for many years, was the recipient of numerous awards for her paintings and enjoyed painting and drawing her entire life.
She and her husband traveled extensively throughout the US, Canada, Europe & Asia before retiring to Novi in 2009.
A memorial service is not planned.
