Mary Claire Reinhardt

Mrs. Reinhardt passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her family. Age 102 years. The daughter of the late William and Alice (Wehren) Pettet was born April 23, 1915 in Saginaw, Michigan. Mrs. Reinhardt was a member of Corpus Christi Parish and enjoyed playing Bingo, reading, sewing and playing games on her tablet. She was a volunteer in the gift shop for over 40 years at Bay Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Reinhardt is survived by her four children, Robert (Joyce) Reinhardt, Nancy Shawl of Surprise, AZ, Judy Coleman of Glendale, AZ and Janet (Gary) Darling of Holt, MI; six grandchildren, Brent (Jaime) Shawl, Sean (Ronda) Coleman, Jeremy (Lynnette) Coleman, Alicia Freeman, Erin (Kurt) West and Emily (Peter) Ahn; eight great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Herman H. Reinhardt; one brother, John Pettet and three sisters, Lillian Thompson, Jane Jungerheld and Patricia Pettet.

The Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Corpus Christi Parish. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Robert J. Kelm. Private Rite of Committal will take place in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Reinhardt will be taken to the church on Friday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Memorial cards for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Corpus Christi Parish will be available at the funeral home.
