Mary Jane Tusinski

Mary Jane passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, May 22, 2013 at the University of Michigan Hospital with her family by her side. Age 69 years. The daughter of the late Joseph and Jennie (Korpal) Kukla was born May 4, 1944 in Bay City. Mary Jane was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, a Eucharistic Minister andwas involved with the Food for Faith Program. She retired from Garber High School as a Library Assistant. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Mahjong Club, various book clubs and played on many golf leagues. Mary Jane enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, golfing, playing cards, spending time in Florida, being with friends. Left behind to cherish her memories is her husband, Anthony P. "Tony" Tusinski whom she married July 24, 1965; her three daughters and their spouses, Jennifer and Dr. Joseph Milavec; Michele and Frank Diehl; Kimberly and Brett Mannion; her grandchildren, Ryan, and Mackenzie Diehl; Michael, Morgan and Olivia Milavec, Cameron and Emily Mannion, her father-in-law, Wojciech Tusinski; her sister and brother-in-law, Janice and Clark Ardern; her brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Donna Kukla and sister-in-law, Diane Kukla; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Lidia Tusinski; two brothers, Robert and Roger Kukla. The Memorial Liturgy will take place on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Robert J. Meissner with private inurnment in Calvary Mausoleum. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday to receive family and friends from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. The Vigil for the Deceased will take place Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
