Mary Evelyn Pfund

Mary passed away Sunday, July12, 2020 at her residence at the age 88 years. She was born in Midland on May 16, 1932 to the late Hugh and Martha (Kapanka) Yarnell. Mary was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust. She married Lorin R. Pfund on June 16, 1951 and were married for 64 years until he passed away on June 3, 2016. In her spare time she enjoyed baking, building puzzles and going to the casino with her twin sister.
Mary is survived by her sons, David (Elizabeth) Pfund and Steven Pfund; two special grandchildren, Marybeth and Lauren Pfund; sister, Betty Ittner and special niece, Ellen Schmidt. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her son, Michael Pfund and twin sister, Rita Case.
