Shannon, Mary J. Bay City, Michigan The daughter of the late Albert and Katherine (Oesterreicher) Reinke passed away early Sunday morning October 17, 2010 at her residence with her daughter at her side. Age 73 years. She was born November 29, 1936 in Saginaw Michigan. She was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Amelith where she was actively involved in evangelism and served as the director of the Board for Evangelism and was a former member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Saginaw, she taught Bible classes and was a member of the Lutheran Women Missionary League. Mary retired from Covenant Health Care (St. Lukes Hospital) as a physical therapy technician. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law; Kathie and Blake Milton of Dallas, TX, two step grandchildren, Alexandra Milton and Jacqui Milton, one sister and brother-in-law; Margaret and Richard Gugel of Bloomfield, IN, one brother and sister-in-law; Edward and Joyce Rienke of Saginaw, six nieces and nephews and seven great nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Albert and Katherine she was preceded in death by one brother; John Albert Reinke in 1935. Funeral services will take place Wednesday October 20,2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's . Lutheran Church of Amelith. Officiating will be Rev. Stephen P. Starke with interment following in Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Tuesday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.. Memorial cards for St. John's Lutheran Church of Amelith will be available at the funeral home. www.gephartfuneralhome.com
