Mary Ann Voss "Pinky"

Mary Ann "Pinky" of Bay City, our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister and friend passed away unexpectedly at McLaren Bay Region on Thursday, October 22, 2020. She was born in Bay City on March 6, 1931 to the late Robert and Clementine (Dombkowski) Anderson. Mary Ann attended Bay City Central High School. She married the love of her life Arnold Voss on September 4, 1948 and he preceded her in death. Mary Ann was a faithful member of Our Lady of Peace Parish for many years. She worked at Knepps, Munleys City Dairy and Bay Medical Care Facility from where she retired. Mary Ann had a great love for her family and family gatherings. She had love and took pride in cooking and baking items, especially for her family. Mary Ann enjoyed crocheting blankets for her family and friends. She enjoyed playing cards with her sister, brothers and sister-in-law. She loved her dog Toby. He was a great companion for the last twelve years since the loss of her husband Arnold Voss. Mary Ann enjoyed sitting in the backyard with Toby waiting for her boys to stop and see her.
Left behind to cherish Mary Ann's memories are her sons, Thomas (Debbie), David (Sue), James (Sherry) and Michael (Wendy); grandchildren, Danielle (Todd) Kuhn, Sara (Chris) Alexander, Ben (Katie) Voss, Amanda (Aaron) Trinkle, Jennifer (Dave) Redick, Matthew (Gretta) Voss, Timothy (Kristin) Voss, Ryan Voss, Jackie (Matt) Male and Justin (Adrena) Gilbert; great grandchildren, Zachary and Gavin Kuhn, Maximus and Eleanor Voss, Christopher and Jordan Alexander, Robert Trinkle, Chase and Alyssa Tolar, Nathan and Avery Voss and Camilla Male; great great grandchildren, Hadley Jo and Braxton Tolar; sister, Betty Voss; brothers, Robert (Joanne) Anderson and Dennis (Joan) Anderson; sister-in-law, Milly Allabaugh; friend, Shirley Woods and many other family and friends.
Funeral Liturgy and Committal will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Our Lady of Peace Parish. The celebrant will be Rev. Fr. John Sarge with private burial in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friend may visit with the family on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the Vigil for the Deceased that will take place at 7:00 p.m. Mrs. Voss will be taken to the church to lie in state on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. We are currently still under the governor's executive order of social distancing and limited to 30-50 visitors in the chapel at one time. You may experience a wait while paying your respects, face coverings must be worn. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to make a memorial contribution to the wishes of the family.
