Mary Etquiel Whitfield

Whitfield, Mary Etquiel Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Whitfield passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 70 years. Mary was born December 29, 1941 in Kentucky. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, animals and children. Mrs. Whitfield is survived by her husband, William Whitfield; six children, Patricia Nelson, Thomas McLees, Alyce (Rick) Haugen, Daniel (Raga) McLees, Petro (Emma) Waroff and Monya Alvarez; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister, Michelle Mauer and her family. Mary was predeceased by her loving uncle Fred Roche and several other family members. At the request of Mrs. Whitfield cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 16, 2012 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. David L. Dunn. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of service. Memorial cards for the wishes of the family will be available at the funeral home.
