Maryann Tallmadge, of Kawkawlin, passed away Wednesday afternoon August 22, 2012 at Bay Special Care Hospital, age 71. The daughter of the late Walter and Alice (Rasmer) Wojciechowski, she was born June 14, 1941 in Bay City. Maryann was a devout Catholic and attended many different Catholic churches in Bay City and Midland. She was a longtime contributor to St. Jude's Hospital, Our Lady of Fatima, Our Lady of the Snows Shrine in Illinois and the Salvation Army. Maryann enjoyed polka music and the holidays, especially decorating and celebrating Christmas and she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Maryann is survived by her three children, James L. Tallmadge, Jr. of Bay City, Timothy A. (Stephanie) Tallmadge of Brandon, FL and Tina M. Doyle of Midland; six grandchildren, Logan, Taylor, Justine, Brendan, Joshua and Jacob; a sister, Romaine Suida; and two brothers, Gerald Wojciechowski and Thomas Wojciechowski. Besides her parents, Maryann was also preceded in death by two brothers, Bernard Wojciechowski and Walter Wojciechowski, Jr. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 27, 2012 at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. The celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Craig L. Albrecht with the Rite of Committal and entombment following at Calvary Mausoleum. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Vigil Prayer Service will be on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. Mrs. Tallmadge will lie instate at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
