Mrs. McComb passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Bay Medical Care Facility. Age 80 years. The daughter of the late Herman and Florence (Maciejewski) Shorkey was born November 22, 1933 in Bay City, MI. She is survived by three children and their spouses; Michael and Geralyn McComb of Munger, MI, Scott and Janet McComb of Linwood, MI, Connie and Larry Engelhart of Bay City, MI, twelve grandchildren; Bob (Becky) McComb, Michael McComb, Valerie (Brian) Groulx, Julie (Jeff) Shaw, Carrie (Kip) Cronk, Scott , Joseph, Patrick, Jacob and Jeffrey McComb, Emily and Alyssa Engelhart, her great grandchildren; Lauren Groulx, Samantha and Lucas McComb, Corbin Shaw, Scott, Savannah and Zackery McComb, Craig Fulks and Michael Diehl, one sister and brother-in-law; Carol and Howard Shively, one brother and two sisters-in-law; Edmund and Barbara Shorkey and Judy Shorkey. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Edwin "Lefty' McComb whom she married May 19, 1956 and he passed away November 5, 2011, and one brother; Donald Shorkey. Funeral Services will take place Monday, June 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Atchinson with interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will be present at the funeral home on Sunday to receive family and friends from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
