Maxine E. Manser

Our loving mother, grandmother and sister passed away Wednesday March 29, 2017 at Medi Lodge of Midland. Age 79 years. The daughter of the late John and Victoria (Osmycki) Myszynski was born March 11, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan. Mrs. Manser was a member of St. Catherine of Sienna Parish-St. Vincent de Paul Church, was a member of the Altar Society and very active in her church. Mrs. Manser retired from Dr. Gerald Dowlings office after many years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, enjoyed volunteering at the Knight of Columbus, at her church and helping family and friends. Left to cherish her memories along with three children and their spouses; James A. and Elizabeth Manser, Gerald J. and Belinda Manser and Denise and Tom Crook all of Midland, eight grandchildren; Stacey, Eric, Jon, J.J., Morgan, Nolan, Brody and Chase; her brother and sister-in-law, Norman and Barb Myszynski; her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Margaret and Larry Schmidt and Carol Manser; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, James E. Manser whom she married August 26, 1961 and he passed on December 21, 2016. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Monday, April 3, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Sienna Parish-St. Vincent de Paul Church. The Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. John Sarge with private Rite of Committal in Calvary Cemetery in Kawkawlin. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday to receive visitors from 2:00 to 4:00 and 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Vigil for the Deceased will take place Sunday at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Manser will be taken to the church on Monday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a memorial contribution to St. Catherine of Siena Parish.
